In today’s economic climate, it’s difficult to know where to put your money. Precious metals are often seen as a safe bet in tough times, and indeed gold prices are hovering near historic highs at the moment as many investors head toward this traditional safe haven. Nebraska businessman Dean Krotter had a similar idea many years ago, although he took it to the extreme.
